Looking to resolve one of AirBnB’s problematics : how to help travelers precisely locate their rental – in order to alleviate customer service’s workload.

Problem ? Too much time spent on assisting travelers for the check in :
- on arrival, 37% travelers use the in-app conversation tools to contact either the host or customer service.
- 5% of the customer support contacts are made regarding the check in.
How would we know the problem is solved ? A significant drop in the percentage of calls made to customer support regarding those problematics (finding the rental place, the keys, easily checking in…)

How could we make Lydia’s free subscription’s limits more visible, readable & understandable ? The aim being that free subscribers would eventually upgrade to Lydia Blue or Lydia Black.

Problem ? Lydia needs subscribers to increase it’s Monthly Recurring Revenue.
- 4/5 users don’t even know that there’s such a thing as premium subscriptions.
- 5/5 users don’t see the point in subscribing to either Lydia Blue or Lydia Black –although they would surely benefit from the options included in these offers.
How would we know the problem is solved ? Increase in free users becoming paying customers.

UX WRITING
As a designer, i’ve worked on finding solutions to many different types of problems. I first designed solutions to everyday questions in the form of everyday objects like tableware or chairs. Working in sales and as a design shop manager taught me a lot on how to address people, on diplomacy, on people’s real needs and on how to build a thriving business. Launching a start up made me dive into the wonders of the worldwide web of internets… and keeping on writing during all those years led me someday to my true love.

Through the years i’ve used my pen and brain to write interesting and fun to read pieces about many different subjects. From highly puzzling stuff (like how to take care of your nails with natural oils) to more technologic ones (the history of an electric devices firm for instance).
Finding the right words to embarq readers on a jolly adventure whatever the topic might be ? That’s what i am proud of.
